Our History
From humble beginnings in 1992 to becoming a leader in engineering services in East Texas, Hayes Engineering has built a reputation of integrity, expertise and excellence in multi-disciplinary engineering services, specializing in the planning and design of Public Works projects.
Hayes Engineering was founded under the name NRSH in 1994 by Stanley R. Hayes, P.E., before the name was changed to Hayes Engineering in 2004. Since that time, the firm has experienced growth, serving hundreds of clients across East Texas with economical and practical engineering services.
With over 1,500 projects completed with cumulative values over $300 million, there’s a reason clients in East Texas turn to Hayes Engineering.
Our Leadership
Stanley R. Hayes, P.E.
Stanley R. Hayes, P.E., has served as Principal and President since he founded the firm in 1994. With more than 33 years of engineering experience, Stanley also serves as Project Manager, Design Engineer, and Technical Advisor on municipal, rural, and private development projects to ensure project success for all of Hayes Engineering’s clients.
Austin C. Lightle, P.E.
Austin C. Lightle, P.E., serves as Vice President and Project Manager.
Austin is an East Texas native, and graduated Cum Laude from Colorado School of Mines with honors in Civil Engineering.
Austin has over 6 years of experience as a design engineer and technical advisor on municipal, rural, and private development projects.
Austin is a member of the Civil Engineering Society of America and is a licensed Civil Engineer in the State of Texas, State of Arkansas, and the State of Louisiana.
